Toronto’s Pinnacle SkyTower Reaches 106 Storeys, Becoming Canada’s Tallest Building

Construction of the Pinnacle SkyTower in Toronto has reached its highest occupied floor at 106 storeys, marking a major milestone for what will become Canada’s tallest building. The tower is part of the larger Pinnacle One Yonge mixed-use development and is expected to reach a final height of approximately 351.85 metres upon completion in 2026. The project will include 958 residential units, a Le Méridien hotel and roughly 80,000 square feet of amenities, positioning it as a prominent addition to Toronto’s skyline.
Designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, the tower features a distinctive 12-sided tapered structure intended to enhance performance and maximize views of the city and waterfront. The development forms part of a large master-planned community that integrates residential, retail, hospitality and outdoor spaces. Its height places the upper floors roughly in line with the CN Tower’s main observation level, reinforcing the project’s significance as a landmark in Toronto’s urban landscape.
